Gruppo Carli pellet bedding
A good bedding can make the difference in the quality of life of horses that spend a lot of time inside the stall.

The Gruppo Carli pellet bedding is made entirely from cereal straw grown and processed in Italy, then chopped and pelleted. It contains only straw of cereals grown in Italian fields, and the pelleting is done mechanically, without use of additives or adhesives.

Use:
1. As a replacement for an existing bedding
It is important to gradually accustom the horse to the new bedding: during daily cleaning, top up the existing bedding with small amounts of pellet bedding, so as to entirely replace the previous bedding over the course of 7 – 10 days.

2. New stall
Uniformly distribute approx. 3-6 kg of Gruppo Carli pellet bedding per sq m. (the suggested amount is approximate, and should be adjusted to suit individual requirements ). During daily cleaning remove only the soiled and wet bedding and add new material according to need. After 30-40 days, completely remove the bedding, clean the stall and leave it open long until the floor is dry, then spread the new bedding to cover the entire floor. Leave the stall empty for around half an hour to allow the dust to settle before allowing the horse to reoccupy the stall.

Gruppo Carli pellet bedding is a product that can be freely disposed of according to Italian Law 75/2010: used bedding can be employed as a fertilizer for agricultural soils or as a biotransformation substrate for the production of compost.
